Upgraded from 17" LCD. I had the same stuck pixel as other reviewers. A red pixel at the right side. A little prodding and it disappeared. Playing BF2142 is great. Built-in speakers; no don't use them! I had an order waiting from the free delivery weekend, added this to it + dual DVI cable and part dispatched the next day. Nice one Dabs!

With a contrast ratio of 700:1 dot pitch of 0.283mm and 5ms refresh time this monitor is clearly superior to the dabsvalue 19" widescreen (made by Digimate) which is priced about the same. Mine arrived with no dead pixels but at first power on immediately noticed the factory preset image looks washed out.. after reading the other reviews realised that both the brightness and contrast are at 100% by default and lowering them both to 50% solved this particular issue. It is a fantastic looking monitor with a sleek design and the speakers are hidden so it looks great... the looks alone are one of the reasons I went for this monitor over the dabsvalue and the specs are better so I feel it was worth the extra I paid.

How do Dabs do it? I bough this monitor for £119.56 including Next Day Delivery to replace my ten year old Sony CPD200ES monitor which was starting to give a bit of trouble. Took NO time at all to set up, worked straight out of the box, and I even had the monitor working at 1600x1200, which is odd as the native resolution is 1440x900. At the latter resolution and with ClearType enabled, the screen is fantastic, and I must admit I was sceptical at first. There were NO dead/stuck pixels either, which for a panel of this price is I would say remarkable! Absolutely amazing. Buy one and be AMAZED!!

What an amazing monitor. The resolutions magnificent, there are no dead pixels, the brightness is out of this world, and it looks amazing. I don't know what the previous speakers are like because the other reviews don't speak highly of them. Crystal clear picture even on analogue. Speedy delivery and excellent price (as usual). Ordered this the other week, arrived next day, easy to set up, great value for money, one dead pixel but I can live with that. Another quality, great priced product from DABs, only down point, the speakers aren't great but am awaiting delivery on some I ordered from DABs yesterday!

Bought to complement my new Dell - I didn't want their widescreen monitor. Three weeks of constant use have done nothing but impress. No dead pixels; superb picture quality for general home computing on both analogue and digital inputs; and three year warranty to boot. Excellent value for money, coupled with the usual DABS hassle-free service.

I bought one of these from Dabs quite some time ago. I thought that for the low price, I would be getting a 'make do' product, but it was quite to the contrary! The colours were superb (with a little tinkering in the settings) and the brightness/contrast exceptional. It has seen me through a great many hours gaming, video viewing, and graphical creation/editing. I have only recently upgraded to a 22", and based on my experience with this one, I made sure the new one was a HannsG too! I love my old 19" so much that I'm loathe to be rid of it - I might just keep it as a spare or second monitor. I understand that very few TFTs come with a bundled DVI cable, so I'm not bothered that this didn't. I would recommend this monitor (and this manufacturer in general) to anyone.

Ordered Monitor and dvi cablemonday about 12.00,recived next day at 11.45-exelent service,monitor is working perfect,had no time to install drivers and software,but I`ll do later,Thanks DABS

im the sort of person who trawls through the reviews and if i find negative ones it doesn't put me off but i like to investigate further, and to be honest some of the negative reviews { not many i admit } are total rubbish, one guy wrote the buttons needed pushing with a nail as they were so tiny, what is he a GIANT? my fingers are certainly not small and i didnt have any problems pushing them, its a great monitor and even better for the price, the buttons are nicely concealed, as said the speakers are not up to much when listening to music, but just normal internet use they are ok, i have my external and monitor speakers attached, no dead pixels on either monitor { i got 2 } no dvi in box, that could be added by the manufacturer fro a small charge, but overall , if you want a nice looking monitor for a decent price then you can go wrong with this one, and with dabs speedy delivery then its even better
