Just got this screen and it's the best thing you can buy for £130. No dead pixles. Plug and play works like magic (Win XP). Running screen of Dell laptop which auto adjusts resolution when the lid is closed. Great colour, great for film/games. Pure magic. get one now

A superb low cost monitor.
its only boxed with a VGA cable so I recommend ordering a £5 DVI cable with it as others have said.
only had one red pixel initially but gently rub it and there's no dead pixels now.
was simply plug n play no probs.
only run it at 1440x900 for a crystal clear display cos other modes would cause blurring.

Is the poor performance experienced by some users with the use of a DVI cable or VGA ?

ordered this monitor on wednesday,it arrived thursday!!,i was a bit unsure about buying this monitor because it the price seemed a bit cheap,but it is so good!!!!!,crystal clear picture with great,bright colours.Its really easy to set up,just plug it in and your away,its a must for anyone who is looking for a large bright LCD monitor.

Took it out of the box, plugged it in, ran the CD and that was it done. Couldn't have been easier, no dead or bright pixels.
One minor point, if your PC is old like mine, you may not be able to use the max. available resolution which is: "Recommended Resolutions: 1440 X 900 @60Hz".
I need a new graphics card now...

What can I say? This is an absolute bargain tft with brilliant colours and an extremely bright screen, for the price it's unbelievable! Mine also came with no dead pixels as well. The only thing I would say was that the installation instructions are extremely basic and the drivers than came with it won't install. That's not a problem though considering windows default drivers do the job fine. Overall an excellent monitor for a brilliant price, a must buy!

Perfect for Xbox 360

I needed a display for my xbox 360 as my 17" 6-year-old TV really did not do it justice. After looking at the price of HDTVs I sadly accepted that I'd never be able to afford to see the 360's image the way it was intended.
Then I found out about the VGA cable for the 360. After reading up on this I discovered that by using the VGA cable with a humble monitor, I could get the same quality picture as you get on an HDTV.
So I brought this monitor and my 360 has come to life. The picture is as good as my mates HDTV! If you have a 360, but can't afford an HDTV, buy this monitor. It will transform your gaming experience.
