excellent Monitor orderd friday night was here by the tuesday fast delivery no dead pixels. easy to setup did buy DVI lead at the same time well worth the money and can also say i play Moto gp3 online and monitor is up to it. didnt bother with built in speakers have my own which all monitors with built in speaker are poor well thumbs up to dabs for brilliant service and quailty gear. so go and treat yourself well worth it

So pleased with this monitor! It's just so wide, bright and sharp. One dead pixel - but can't complain about that. Sound weak but again to be expected. I needed to download Powerstrip to set my Radeon 9250 to 1440x900 under Windows 98 but this works fine. Even better - discovered I had a voucher in my Dabs account which with other stuff I was buying brought the total cost to only 100 pounds or so.

I ordered the monitor at about 2pm on Tuesday 26/09/06 and it arrived the next day! Monitor so easy to set up and no dead pixels! Picture awesome and clear. I am only using VGA too as thats all my graphics card allows (even though it allows me to set the resolution to the recommended setting of 1440 x 900 pixels). Great product.

Get the right DVI cable!

I agree with the majority of reviews and give this monitor my full recommendation. One lesson I have learnt is that not all DVI cables are equal. I original bought a dual link DVI-D cable and either had no picture, shockingly poor picture with stray lines and pixels all over the place, or very low resolution. When connected via VGA, the monitor was perfectly fine. Bought the DABS value DVI cable and I can now enjoy the monitor in it's fullest glory!

ordered it yesterday at 7pm, came today at 10am. Dabs delivery is second to none! as for the monitor i cant believe the value! awesome widescreen, very bright, beautiful and descreet style and NO DEAD PIXELS!!! speakers are on the back which is good because they are crap and i dont want to see them!... afterall this is a monitor not a surround sound system! I'm so pleased with it i'm gunna double up on them and replace my other 17" monitor for another one of these!

I hadn't realised how dull and lifeless my Philips LCD had become until I plugged this beauty in! No dead pixels and I had to turn the brightness down to half to avoid having to wear sunglasses. The buttons on the side are a little fiddly, and this is one area where cost cutting is very evident. But I'm very pleased with this screen, and Dabs delivery was superquick as always.

Had this monitor for about 10 days now.No dead pixels,light bleed minimum,fast pixel refresh.Played cod2 and UT with no ghosting.Very pleased.In dvi-d I was getting thin blue pixel lines which only affected the colour black when using dabs value dvi-d cable.Bought an ebay cable for £3.75 and now it's perfect.Very strange.VGA mode is as good as digital.Would I buy another?Definitely. Also thanks to dabs for a delivery time of 20 hours. Nice one.

FANTASTIC VALUE WIDESCREEN

This product deserves all of the praise it gets. Easy set up, bright, fast response, solid quality and cool looks. Don't expect much from the speakers, as thay are basic, but connect up some 2.1's or better and you're away. The price is creeping up (I got mine cheaper than the current £139) but excellent value all the same. Nice one dabs!

Can't say enought about this monitor. The picture quality is terrific. The setup was easy as pie. The sound is, well, its ok. Its only really good for Windows alert sounds more than anything. I bought a set of Logitech speakers for it and hooked it all up via VGA to my Xbox 360 - perfect setup - very pleased with it. Dabs did a super job getting the monitor to me within 2 days of ordering and it was in perfect condition. No dead pixels. Very much recommended!! Thanks Hanns & DABS.
