Great buy at great price. Got one for my wife and to be honest there isn't much difference from my 40quid more expensive LG one. They both 19" wide-screen, hook up via DVI good visibility, great colours, quick response. Wish I have bought one for my self. The only two things against it would be not very user friendly menu, but once you have set it up no problems, and buttons feel very, very cheap. All in all great monitor.

Can't fault it at the price. It's a nice looking monitor and the screen quality seems good to me. Shame it isn't height adjustable and that it doesn't swivel though.

I bought this monitor for my computer, for the dual screen idea.

It worked fine once I had sorted out the desktop and resolution settings. The screen is very good quality, although I have not got the sound to work (Not that it matters, as I didn't plan to have speakers built in)

There are no stuck pixels like other people have said, and the settings are fairly easy to navigate around if one reads the menu, rather than just looking at picture.

This is definately a good buy, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a new good value monitor.

Plugged it in, installed the drivers - played with the settings a little and looks fantastic. Replaces a 19" CRT monitor. No dead pixels either.

To the person with the query about the box - it comes in a very slimline but sturdy box - has a reinforced plastic handle at the top to carry about - should be just what you need.

This is my first TFT screen and i am very pleased with this product. The surround around the actual screen is a dark silver/light gun metal grey which is much better looking that the white the Dabs photo shows. The base is a hollow semi circular black plastic design that is very well weighted. The monitor controls are very easy to use. I don't expect much from the screen speakers, n neither should you really at this price. Quality has gone to the display, which in terms of quality is EXcellent. I was abit annoyed on first start up to see 3 dead pixels. I massaged these out very carefully though with a cloth between finger and screen and now i only have 1 dead pixel. The only reason i gave this 4/5 is because i could have had 3 dead pixels.

Pretty nice monitor. I use it with an Xbox360 which doesn't support the monitor's optimum resolution so although you het HD quality images they are a little blurry. Not the monitors fault though, just a note to those looking for a cheap HD option for gaming. Looks nice through the PC though, nice and crisp. Need to play about with the settings, no strain there. However, after three days of use i now have four white pixels, which i am told means that they are dead. Another 3 and i get to have the monitor replaced i believe. Speakers are rubbish, so get some nice cheap 5.1 surround speakers for gaming. The two inputs are a nice touch, i use the VGA with the console and a DVI for the PC. Got the DVI here at Dabs. Dabs' service was superb as usual, Can't fault them at all. Shame the price has gone up!

Worked straight out of the box, It would have received 5* If it hadn't got a dead pixel a 3rd of the way down & just off center.. I find my eyes are drawn to it!! Service was next day so that got a full 5* ... well done Dabs. Buy the Dabs value DVI lead if your card supports it!

I bought one of these as a secondary monitor, my primary being a high-quality Samsung. The colours are bright and very vibrant but the dynamic range is quite poor. If I view the same photo on both screens, the one on the HannsG looks a little too garish but the worst problem is that there is not enough contrast in the darker areas.

On the Samsung monitor in dark parts of the photo - such as shadowy areas of a tree - you can see lots of detail but on the HannsG these dark areas are all black. I mean REALLY all black - if I only viewed the photo on the HannsG I'd think that that area WAS black. On a decent onitor you'll plainly see that there is a lot of detail there.

I have played around with the monitor controls and you can improve the colours somewhat but you can't do anything about the poor contrast at low levels.

This monitor will be great for gaming and day-to-day use but very poor if you need good colour accuracy or want to do detailed photo-editing.

Bought this for my brothers birthday, he wasnt disappointed.
Great screen + definite improvement over CRT's but the colour ratio is a bit low and is highly noticeable on screen.
The Power button is small and in an odd place too; only a minor inconvenience.
Still comes highly recommended at the price.
