Write a review for the HannsG 19" Widescreen TFT Monitor here!
So it was time to replace my CRT 15" monitor, and with alot of choices out there it was hard to choose. I wasn't sure whethere or not just to go for a standard TFT as opposed to widescreen, but it is just incredible there is so much room, you no longer have to scroll acorss to read a web page and i also do a lot of CAD drawings. No dead or stuck pixels, great with DVI. Just be aware you need a 256mb Graphics card (I used XFX geforce6200A with no fan works a treat). For all undecided its a great easy simple monitor with no buttons on the front to clog up the display. Its all neat and tidy, once it is all set you'll never have to use them again jiust the power button which is easy to find with your finger. For the money it is fantastic!!
I have 2 of these in DualView, and they are brilliant, never had any problems with them, great for gaming, great for watching video, brilliant all round.
The speakers are terrible (I don't know why companies put speakers on monitors, it just ups the price), but you don't buy a monitor for the performance of the speakers.
Get 2 of these, you won't regret it!
Monitor is excellent, price is excellent, no problems.
For the money this is a very good piece of kit. Works straight from the box and as mentioned in other reviews needs the brightness and contrast turned down from the max!
Had mine for over a year now. Bought it to replace my 17inch CRT which was on its way out.
Cant fault this monitor though! Had some stuck pixels early on but they disappeared not long after. The picture quality is excellent and even though the screen controls are on the side of the monitor, u'll never use them after uve set it up first time.
Its probably the best product ive bought for my PC. Currently looking into getting another one to make a dual display.
For everyone planning on upgrading from CRT to TFT, forget about buying a 15/17inch, buy this, you wont regret it!
Great value for money, only monitor in this price range to have both dvi and vga inputs as far as i know.
I have both my pc and xbox 360 connected to this monitor, image is sharp and crisp and games move great with no ghosting.
Ordered this Monitor at 18.30 and got it at 10.oc next morning. Opened it and it looks great. Plugged it in and it look better. For £135 you can not go wrong and comes with 3 years on site warranty BIRLL……………..
Excellent monitor, having used decent CRT monitors and a rather expensive old 17" AOC TFT (£350 cost price, some years ago), I have to say this beats them all. The picture does not do the monitor justice, it's panel has a slim bezel, the speakers are hidden neatly round the back out of sight. It offers a DVI and VGA connector. My only slight complaints are the oval base (looks a little girly if you ask me), but I can live with it. Also the controls for the menu are on the left hand side, while this neatly hides them it does make it a little fiddly to press, but luckily once your up and running this doesn't matter anyway :)
Overall ordered next day, arrived as promised, not a single dead pixel, great screen, great service!
Despite only paying for 3 day delivery the two I ordered (Monday) arrived the next day (Tuesday). No dead pixels and it was a simple plug and play setup. The *only* reason the "ease of use" is downgraded to 4 is the quality of the manual, but even the most timid of computer users should be fine with plugging a couple of cables in.
I've switched from an old Apple CAD crt screen to this, and the quality is as good easily, but only taking a fraction of the desk space whilst giving more screen area.
Very good value for money, love the widescreen capability, great images with video. Instruction manual very basic but not a problem at this price. What a bargain
