If you have an IT team looking after your school or college network and want direct control over the equipment, you can take the BTnet internet service as a “wires only” option. This means you can source, install and manage your own router and other LAN, wi-fi and security equipment.
Our Cisco router provides simple pass through on to your network. We can install, configure and test it so you’re ready to go. Then we’ll be there to support you if issues arise. If you want to use an existing firewall or security appliance, this is the perfect option. And if you need them, we can also provide a full range of LAN, wi-fi and security solutions for your network.
A WAN connects multiple sites and makes secure data transfer possible. So they’re useful for larger schools, colleges and Multi-Academy Trusts. As well as our BTnet leased line internet access, we offer lots of different WAN options to meet your needs. Just ask us for information.
