Description
The multifunction Dell PowerConnect W-AP92 and W-AP93 are entry-level indoor, single-radio 802.11n access points (APs) designed for low-density deployments in offices, hospitals, schools and retail stores. These compact, high-speed APs deliver wire-like performance at data rates up to 300 Mbps. The W-AP Access Points and W-Series Controllers complement Dell's existing PowerConnect portfolio of networking solutions, and securely and efficiently extend wired network capabilities to the mobile workforce.

The multifunction PowerConnect W-AP105 is an affordable indoor 802.11n access point (AP) designed for high-density deployments in offices, hospitals, schools and retail stores. The compact, high-speed W-AP105 delivers wire-like performance at data rates up to 300 Mbps. 802.11n enables the use of wireless as a primary connection with speed and reliability comparable to a wired LAN. It can also increase performance by utilizing such techniques as channel bonding, block acknowledgment and multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) radios. Advanced antenna technology helps increase range and reliability. -

Dell's architecture enables a wireless user to securely access the enterprise network with a consistent, "always-on" experience with the Dell PowerConnect W-AP105 Access Point. Uniform security and access control policies are applied to users in headquarters, branch offices, home offices or on the road. Users and devices securely connect to a Dell controller installed in the enterprise network core. The controller directly controls Dell PowerConnect W-Series access points, managing their configuration, user connection state and policy enforcement. -
