Very poor quality software
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 09/01/2009
I purchased this along with two Netgear FVS318 routers to enable secure VPN client connections to two of our offices and was VERY disappointed with the product.
The latest version was not supplied and an upgrade to the latest version was not available without contacting Netgear support.
Uninstalling the old version was a complete nightmare and installation of the latest version was also problematic.
Once installed, I have still (after several days effort) not been able to connect the client to the Netgear router. The interface is not user friendly and the documentation on the CD does not match either the Netgear website or information supplied by support.
I am on the verge of sending the software and routers back because they are not fit for purpose. So my advice is...avoid Netgear at all costs.
Regards
John
