Supports a wide range of security protocols and authentication methods, including Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Data Encryption Standard (DES), 3DES, Message-Digest Algorithm (MD5) and Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-1). Also supports Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Internet Key Exchange (IKE - Main and Aggressive modes), plus a wide range of Smart Cards and certificate authorities.
Provides protected access to corporate resources via wireless, broadband, and dial-up connections. Supports NETGEAR VPN/Firewall routers, including the FVS318, FVL328, FVM318, and FWAG114, as well as many other IPSec-compliant VPN devices. The ProSafe VPN client includes several modules that make it easy to configure and diagnose connection problems:
Includes Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal support for VPN clients behind devices that support VPN pass-through mode. Supports multiple configurations, including split tunneling, block tunneling, and central tunneling. Provides redundant gateway capability and keepalives for increased reliability.

Does exactly what it should do

Got my first license for this software with a netgear router and was able to establish good, reliable connections to both netgear and other manufacturers hardware without issue.
Have since purchased further licenses to get other users accessing remotely and this client software has been successful where other software has failed.

It does not do what it says on the box!

I bought this software hoping to establish VPN with my Netgear Router DG834. I followed all instructions in the manual and was unable to establish connection. I then looked up all possible troubleshooting articles on the web and tried various settings but all unsuccessfully. This product is a sham and complete waste of valuable time. Do not fall in the same trap buying it, thinking that it can work well with Netgear products. In fact, it can not work well with any brand. I am so disappointed!
