What a great joystick. This is a must have for any Flight sim fan The joystick is very easy to use and sey up. And the pedals are a good addition.
A++++++++
Bought this joystick 5 months ago and it has been wonderful.
It works extremely well with FSX and the SST is very useful.
overall a great bit of kit.
This piece is absolutely awesome! Wouldn't change for anything cheaper.
This Joystick is great for FS2004 or FSX. The manual to X52 PRO is very short but anyway is easy in use. With X52 PRO you will get Saitek SST Programming Software where we can to programme every buttons to any games. Is worth to buy and build quality is excellent.
I recommend to every one who like fly!
This is an brillent joystick and was a wonder to use after an upgrade from the Microsofts Sidewinder Forcefeed back.
The installtion is easy to go through But it is more recommend to use the drivers of the Saitek home page as the ones i got with the included disk where corupted and got BSOD's after pressing the trigger.
But over all it will improve game playing and makes it more fun as it does on IL2
I bought this joystick too use on Battlefield 2 as others I have tried were a bit dodgy.
What a fantastic piece of kit.
Excellent response to commands and a pleasure to use.
A bit expensive, but well worth it.
Fantastic joystick, bought for playing on FSX, Vista 64-bit drivers are easily found but they exist as betas and do work.
Unfortunatly mine had the classic saitek lights out problem, which meant every few minutes it would go mad and behave as if you were moving the joystick in all axis pressing all buttons.
But the quality of the thing is suberb barring that one problem it feels solid.
Id deffinatley go for this over the standard X52 which is all plastic and of much lower quality.
I bought what I thought was the 2nd best joystick on the market. Unfortunately it 'sticks' so much that it's more like a gearstick than a joystick. Drove me nuts within a minute and I'm returning it. On the plus side the install was smooth! It's a shame though as it looks the business. At best, Saitek quality control is suspect. I'll give it 2/5 as most likely mine was defective rather than a terrible product. But they shouldn't be letting duds out of the factory and now I have the massive inconvenience of return/postage of a large box and chasing my refund. Not impressed.
PS: I just saw the other guy's review... "Build quality is exellent" ... Not always!
