These are fine if you just have two of them as they autoconfigure, but adding more than this is a problem. I found some instructions involving pressing the buttons on the front panel, but these were useless. Its best to plug the new unit directly into a hub, point browsers at both it and an already working unit, and cut and paste the network ID. You can then disconnect from hub and deploy elsewhere in the home.
so easy, get out of box, plug into the wall, computer and hub and off you go. So fast too. Makes Broadband really fast instead of relying on wireless. Brilliant. Buying 2nd pair now.
This came with the BT Vision box and worked well. Like someone said above there weren't many instructions and I thought it wasn't working to begin with but it was my mistake. Just about to start a trial for BT of their new 24Mb Broadband service so it'll be interesting to see if they work as well with that.
These came with the BT Vision box as part of the package. There were no instructions other than those in the setup guide for the BTV box. These were easy enough to follow but when I had a problem they weren't too clear about what to do. It turned out they were working fine so better instructions or a manual included would have been better, especially when it came to adding a third adapter.
Mine were as issued with the BT Vision box. All appeared well for a while, they I disconnected everything after finding the Vision box had a continually running hard disk....not good for the bank balance. Then a few days ago, after having a 'clash' with all my recordings with Sky +, I reinstalled the Vision box and one adapter had failed, being either off or stuck in standby. Bt engineer to come out and test !! I do not think they worked properly from day one.
