Great value tablet
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 25/06/2009
Had one of these for about a year and was just about to buy another one when I noticed the negative review so I though I'd add my experiences. The unit has worked perfectly since the day I installed it, I don't think I've changed the battery yet so that's not really that much of drawback. The accuracy of the tablet is very good even in absolute mode where the tablet represents your exact screen area. I use it to cut items out in Photoshop as part of my job so I need an accurate tablet and it's perfect. I found the macro function round the edge rather annoying but you can just turn them off in the software. All in all a great buy which is why I'm about to buy another one for my boss.

Great tablet no problems here, Photoshop 64bit wont work with it, and nibs wear out fast, maybe cos I just love using it so much, great specs. Very precise and look professional, give me £300 for a wacom and I'd by 3 of these and give 2 away haha.

Excellent product for the price

Luckily, I had no problems like the other reviewer, and would highly recommend this product.
It's larger than you think with an active area just shy of an a4 piece of paper.
Wheels are handy, response is good, overall a very good tablet and a brilliant price.
Easily switch between wheel functions and widescreen/4:3 modes.
Cons:
Avoid using with multiple screens for any drawing as you get stretched images!
Macro editing software could do with work, but you'll figure it out and start adding your own shortcuts in no time.
Wire comes out the top of the tablet, so is difficult to fit a keyboard right up against the top.
Pen requires it's own battery (supplied) which is the classic mark of any cheap tablet!
Don't bother with Vista's built in tablet PC functions, useless! Just put it into normal tablet mode.
