Write a review for the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System here!
Just to clarify the question from the other review "what do I get?" - I asked the same question and got no reply! - I took a chance and ordered it anyway!.
The answer is "YES" you get the steering yoke and the flight quadrant as well! - Nice bit of kit and will review it better after I get it out of the box and try!.
I got my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke system in Feb 2008. No squeaksand nor does any button pushes on their own -Saitek may have fixed this problem. I am delighted with my Yoke system and it works well with MS Flightsimulator X. It gives a realistic feel of a joystick - just like the real thing. Installation has not been a problem - I just followed the instructions. However, if you want to customise settings (highly recommended) then you will need to know what you're doing. You can,of course, always go back to default settings which works just as well.

Before buying this item I'd like to know:
Do I have to buy the throttle controller separately? If so how does the throttle work with just the Yoke? Also, have the bugs been fixed yet?(Submitted 10th March 2008)
Looks quite good and should enhance your flight sim experience. Mine has a fault that Saitek know about, but don't have a 100% definitive fix for yet. It makes button pushes on it's own & squeaks when moving. Makers forums say they won't have new units until Jan/Feb 2008, might be that these are defective too (problems date from mid/late 2007). You face extra expense to have it replaced by Saitek. A number of customers will have this problem on Christmas Morning, as it is a known problem from the earliest production run onwards, there is no proper fix for it yet. A great shame. Until it's 100% known to be fixed I'd offer that it's probably not something you'd want to be stuck with. Not compatible with Micro Flight Simulator either. (due to the mode switching method)
