My first ever attempt at upgrading a computer. Granted it's not rocket science but this chip went striaght. My Athlon XP2400+ runs like magic on 1.2GB RAM. Half the price of "PC you know who". Shopping's so easy at dabs and free delivery as well. Cheers dabs and Kingston.

Firstly i'd like to thank WALLYjt for posting his review,his comments were most helpful,as like him it's also my first time at upgrading,along with the very same system(Athlon XP2400+)and it truly is just Plug and Play,as easy as that. Secondly i'd like to thank DABS for a great service, purchased online 01/04/08 and they (I Bought 2)are now in my puter 02/04/08.A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL CONCERNED.

EXPENSIVE MISTAKE

REMOVED IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS THEN REINSERTED IT. WHEN RESTARTING 4 CONTACTS MELTED AND MELTED THE INTERFACE AS WELL. ATHLON 1.4GHZ CPU, ASUS A7A 266 MOTHERBOARD AND 1 GB RAM NO LONGER WORK. THANKS KINGSTON ILL STICK WITH CRUCIAL FROM NOW ON.
