The ThinkPad development and engineering teams have spent over a year working hand-in-hand with Microsoft, and Intel to develop a tablet powered by Intel's next generation Atom processor and running Microsoft's new reimagined Windows 8 operating system.
We looked closely at the unmet needs, frustrations and desires business professionals and IT Managers had for tablets and developed a solution that meets those needs. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is the culmination of that incredible partnership. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 has the thin, light design with long-battery and always-on connectivity as expected of a tablet. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is also compatible with existing office and enterprise environments as expected of a PC. As a result the ThinkPad Tablet 2 is more than just a tablet, but is truly in a category of its own.
