It lets you skip battery changes while you’re on the road or trail and stay powered through activities, long sporting events and time-lapse shots. Simply install the door on your camera and connect the power cable to the door, then plug into any USB-C power source to juice up. Your battery doesn’t even have to be installed. The door is also waterproof to 10 m, so you don’t have to re-install your original door when shooting under water.
1 Make sure that your USB-C power source is waterproof when using in wet conditions. 2 Although the Contacto door is waterproof to 10 m, the complete kit (cables and door) is not intended for underwater use.
