The SharecenterTM 2-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure (DNS-320L) is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device with mydlink™ Cloud Services, backup and media features that make it ideal for storing and sharing photos, music, movies and work files on a home or business network.
Easily access and share your photos, movies, music, files and more via mydlink™ Cloud Services
This ShareCenterTM Cloud Storage device enables you to share documents and media content such as photos, music and videos on a home network or over the Internet. Via the mydlink™ portal you can, download and upload files, delete files/folders from their NAS and check the status of your device remotely.
With the mydlink™ Access-NAS app available for iPhone®, iPad® and Android™ you can in addition view photos, stream music and videos from your mobile devices. You can download files from your NAS to your mobile device to send on or watch later. Files can be furthermore uploaded to a ShareCenter™ and backed up, meaning that you won't run out of space on their mobile devices.
If you have with further technical knowledge you can manage the contents of their ShareCenterTM from any FTP client.
Stream digital media content with the built-in Media Server
The built-in UPnP media server will stream the media content on your SharecenterTM to any compatible media player such as the PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and D-Link Boxee Box over your local network. The SharecenterTM 2-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure allows for multiple simultaneous streams, so you can watch a movie on your entertainment centre while someone else listens to music streamed over their computer.
Performance, protection and confidentiality
The SharecenterTM 2-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure has a Gigabit port for the fastest connectivity possible to your home network. RAID 1 technology ensures that your valuable data is secure by mirroring the contents of one hard drive to another, so if one drive fails, your data is still safe.
The confidentiality and integrity of all your files is guaranteed as you can give rights to specific users or groups and assign them to folders with read/write permissions. This function is ideal for the home, where children's access can be restricted to only age-appropriate materials, while ensuring that nobody can delete your files by accident.
D-Link Green™
This SharecenterTM device is part of D-Link GreenTM, D-Link's programme for providing eco-friendly alternatives without compromising performance: if the Hard Drives are not used in a configurable period of time, or data is not being transmitted, the SharecenterTM will enter stand-by mode to save power. Also, the silent fan will adapt its speed depending on the hard drives temperature

Share your files from anywhere
The ShareCenter 2-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure includes a web file server which allows you to download your documents, photos, and other multimedia files from wherever you are. Once configured, simply log into your ShareCenter using the friendly web user interface to view a list of available files. You can also connect with a mydlink mobile app to access and play music, watch videos, and view photos directly on your mobile device. -
Stream digital media with a built-in media server
Back up your digital media files to the ShareCenter for safekeeping, and enjoy the benefits of the built-in DLNA certified UPnP AV media server. Stream digital content to compatible media players such as the PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, or directly to a smart TV. You can also enjoy photo, music, and video streaming remotely through mobile devices. -
Easy installation and set up
The DNS-320L can accept any 3.5" internal SATA hard drive, and installing drives is as simple as popping the top and sliding them in. Push the latch button to access the drive bays, then just slide in your storage drives into place and you're ready. A convenient USB port on the back of the ShareCenter can be used to either share a USB printer with an entire home or office, or attach an external USB storage drive for easy one-touch backup. You can also connect an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to monitor power levels and ensure the safety of your data in the event of a power outage. -
Powerful performance and flexibility
Four different hard drive modes are available (standard, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1), which allow users to choose the configuration best suited to their needs. Standard mode creates two separately accessible hard drives. JBOD combines both drives to create a single, easy to use volume. RAID 0 combines both drives in a "striped" configuration, which provides maximum performance when using a Gigabit Ethernet connection. RAID 1 creates a copy of your data on both drives, providing maximum protection; if one drive fails, the unaffected drive continues to function as a single drive until the failed drive is replaced. Your data will automatically be copied to the new drive, allowing the ShareCenter to return to its full level of protection and ensuring your files remain safe.
