Channel Deployment Playbook
What is The Playbook?
The Playbook is a guide which takes change owners through all the areas of consideration in the SME / SoHo change process.
Each chapter will give an overview of specific areas of consideration in the change process including pre-requisites to engagement, stakeholders and success factors.
The Playbook's ultimate purpose is to set a consistent standard for successful launches into the sales channels.
We aim to fulfil this purpose by helping change owners understand the impact of their change and engage appropriately with their colleagues in the business functions relevant to that change.
How Do I Use The Playbook?
When our Sales Change Board or Readiness Managers are performing an impact assessment with you, the Playbook will act as a walkthrough in which they will discuss any impacted areas of the business and any considerations you should make before implementing your change.
We recommend that as a change owner your use of the Playbook would be to complement your knowledge of the process, its stakeholders and what a good launch looks like when considering the magnitude or the complexity of any change you might make.
More experienced colleagues may want to use the Playbook on a dip-in, dip-out basis to keep up-to-date with who and how. New colleagues may benefit from a more in-depth review, reaching out to stakeholders from sections in which they are less familiar.
How Up-To-Date Is This?
We aim to review all content in this Playbook quarterly, the latest review being 03/01/2023, however we appreciate that people move roles and processes change so if you see anything which doesn’t look right, please contact the Sales Change Board at saleschangeboard@bt.com.
