Run perfectly well off my old (5 years) Creative 5.1 sound card (you need the three outs F/M/R). More bass than you can shake a stick at and the cables are long enough for a bedroom or home office. Excellent price. Integrated amp in the subwoofer drives all five speakers using phono cables.

I have really enjoyed the experience of having the Logitech 5.1 surround system on my pc and my dvd player. The value is outstanding. When I originally bought them I was a tad sceptical as the value was just a little more than a good set of headhpones. Well my whole family enjoy these speakers as we can move them around with ease from pc to pc or even the Dvd player so we can all watch a film in 5.1. My son even uses it on his playstation. They are all plug and play. Excellent is my view.

Excellent value for money. I even bought a second set so I have them in my bedroom and front room.

Games, DVD's and music all sound really good with these speakers.

How did I live with just two speakers! These Logitech are a world apart from anything else I've heard. The bass is clear and precise even at low volumes and high end sounds are very good too. Very easy to setup, had it working within 5 minutes!

Why would you even consider buying anything else? These are amazing. These were £60 when I bought them and that was a bargain, so £40... The wires are quite short, but that's the only downfall. Excellent sound quality even at full blast, but I've only ever had them on that loud for testing - they suit me at quarter-volume! I would suggest getting a 5.1 sound card, as it allows you to adjust the speakers individually, allowing you to make these things even better. You MUST buy these now!

Im a pro DJ, but need some speakers for the desk on a laptop, did have 2 buy a 1/3jack to phone lead to get all 5 speakers working on a basic (single line out) sound card but the frequency range is incredable with a great sounding volume range, very loud and amazing quality, top rated. Wanna buy pc speakers buy these. anything from rock, club, rap to blues bro's, all is awsom! have fun chaps

Great value for money. Could do with longer cables for the rear speakers. Sound quality is good.

Installing the speakers them selves is fairly simple as long as you have a proper jack as they come with 5.1 surround sound connections which means there is only room for one of the three connections on standard sound cards. The kit does come with an adapter which you can use to connect a standard Twin Phono to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Lead but this is not true 5.1 surround sound & requires an extra cable. I would very much advise buying a 5.1 surround sound card.
I would recommend the following card if you are looking for a cheap solution "Trust 511 5.1 Sound Expert Digital Surround" it cost around £12.
I found that the speakers generate the best sound when they are mounted on the wall and about 5ft off the floor.
I thought that this system had an excellent sound considering the price.
Would recommend this to anyone looking for a PC sound solution without breaking the bank.
