Awesome display. Easy to setup. All cables provided. Perfect for digital photos, spreadsheets etc.

Well I can't fault the monitor - very well built and as far as I can see a perfect picture. I am using this with my laptop which normally has a 1200*900 display (Tosbiba A100) and it drives the 1600*1200 just perfectly.
The integrated USB hub means I can have keyboard, mouse and headset all plugged to the monitor so only have to connect one USB cable to the laptop. I would have prefered all the USB ports to be in the same place to keep the cable tidier - but that is a very very small price for usch a brilliant product. And with £50 back from HP - I can't complaign.
Only gripe is the speaker panel add-on. This plugs into the USB for power only, but need to be connected to the headphone socket on the PC/Laptop - so it is not really a USB device as far as I can tell.

Pros: solid, good base, useful usb ports, reasonable quality for price
Cons: I would like some figure quoted to show monitor display uniformity. This is monitor is ok but not great for medical images.
Also better QA software would be welcomed, I dont like the autoadjust of the supplied Hp display assistant. Or maybe it doesnt support my ATI 1900 card well?

One of my two monitors has just failed completely. Thats after 10 months of use. Not reliable enough !
