Join us for a free Apple event near you to discover more

Join us for one of our free “hands-on” workshops to learn how Apple technologies can help transform the teaching and learning experience for both learners and educators.

During a session, you’ll hear how Apple technologies can bring learning to life – making lessons more engaging for students and empowering them to achieve more.
Not only will you hear about it, but you’ll get to experience it for yourself thanks to an interactive workshop format which puts you in the shoes of both pupil and teacher via a practical exercise around a fabulous venue in the UK.

Not sure what to expect? Watch highlights from our recent events…

Take a glimpse of what’s in-store when you attend our workshop. As an Apple Solution Expert for Education (ASE) we run a number of Apple focused events across the country, throughout the school year. It’s your chance to get hands-on with Apple, and learn how technology can be applied to your learning environment.

Spanish City Event

We hosted our last event at the glorious Spanish City (North Tyneside) in October 2018, it was themed around transforming learning in the classroom, and we even had a live iPad band performance.

Beamish Museum Event

We were thrilled to visit Beamish Museum (County Durham) in March 2018 with an Apple event themed around Supporting Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in education. We explored innovative features like VoiceOver, AssistiveTouch and Guided Access to help students with special needs.

Why BT and Apple solutions in education
An overview of the wealth of information and support Apple makes available to educators. This session will be a little more interactive, beginning with the vast number of education Apps on iOS, taking you through to iBooks and iTunes U.

Refreshment break
A chance to grab a drink, chat and you can take photos, tweet or post about your day.

Using BT and Apple to help transform learning
This part of the session involves a specific focus on how Apple devices can help transform learning in the classroom. Our presenter will highlight some key tools and features that Apple offer, and demonstrate how you can make the most of them with your students.

Let's get technical!
We’ll take you through the solutions created specifically to make your Apple deployment easy and secure. From your Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, to Apple School Manager and Classroom. We’ll make the technical stuff a little more interactive and show you how easy it can be to create personalised learning experiences for every student with Apple and BT.

Your opportunity to re-fuel, chat, catch up on anything urgent or take photos and discover more about the Apple devices for yourself.

Hands-on practical session
You’ll be given a task to complete around one of the wonderful venues around the UK, to see for yourself how Apple solutions can help to enhance learning outcomes, and make the learning more engaging for students.

Learnings from practical session
Following the task, we’ll discuss how you found the experience and the opportunities you’ve seen live in practice of how Apple can help your students in the classroom. You can share your feedback and raise any questions with the BT team as well as the Apple Distinguished Educator.

Our team of Apple specialists will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about what you have experienced on the day, as well as any other questions relating to how Apple can help both you and your students in the classroom moving forward.
