Description
DC400 SSD
Kingston’s DC400 SSD offers consistent application performance and low latency over a wide range of read/write workloads, and standard as well as user-adjustable over-provisioning to improve random IOPs performance, making it ideal for data centres. Its enterprise firmware improves latency and helps DC400 deliver consistently low data access times under steady state workloads. It’s available in a Performance-Optimised model with greater IOPs for faster application performance and reduced storage latency and in a Read-Intensive Optimised model.
Features
Consistently high sustained IOPs and low latency
Configurable over-provisioning available
Performance-Optimised model and Read-Intensive model available by special order
Enterprise-class reliability
Legendary Kingston support

Cloud
As cloud storage continues to grow, the storage infrastructure must meet certain requirements. A stratified storage model enables an organization to have the required data at the required level, and to optimize not only its costs, but also its performance. The fast retrieval speed of SSDs enables virtual cloud services to offer optimum efficiency for every type of data processed. -
IT applications
Kingston's SATA 3.0 Enterprise SSDs provide users with high-speed data access for a wide variety of business applications. They can replace direct-attached hard disks (DAS) in servers, or be installed in external arrays to speed up storage-limited applications. -
Server virtualization
In a virtualized environment, mechanical hard disks can have a significant negative impact on data access demands and high I/O throughput. Data access and resources required by applications and users have become limiting factors in system performance. Kingston SSDs provide an ideal acceleration solution to the storage challenge in virtualized environments. They meet the essential objectives of virtualization: to produce more with less.
