Description
Kingston's KC400 SSD is faster than a hard drive to deliver consistent performance for both compressible and incompressible data and improve responsiveness in performance-hungry applications. It uses a powerful processor to speed up daily tasks and improve productivity. KC400 provides end-to-end data path protection and SmartECC to guard data, plus SmartRefresh to protect against read errors. Data is rebuilt if there's an error, and the drive is able to recover from an unexpected power shutdown, thanks to firmware-controlled power loss management. Advances in controller technology and NAND give this drive excellent data reliability.
-
Notebook and desktop PC use
Kingston solid-state drives will make your system boot quicker, load applications faster and shut down faster. They are ideal for notebook and desktop use to increase the performance of common office and multimedia applications. -
Extending the life of older systems
Kingston SSDs will not only increase performance and make data more secure but they can also be used to extend the life of older systems and enable an organization to delay a PC refresh and potentially save thousands of dollars. -
Multimedia
If you work with large images or video files, you know that these files and the applications that use them are very dependent on your drive's storage performance. Whether you are applying layers and effects to an image or editing HD video content, an SSD can deliver more data faster than a traditional hard drive.
