Tested to military standard MIL-STD-810G 516.5. Full suspension in all size axes of motion delivers drop protection up to 10'. -
Immersion protection
HydroSafe technology protects data during immersion up to 3 days in fresh water or saltwater to a depth of 30'. Unlike other products, the Rugged Portable remains waterproof when the USB cable is connected. -
Crush protection
Full Metal Jacket technology: CNC-machined from a billet of solid aluminum, the Rugged Portable is crush-resistant to 2,500 lbs. -
Extreme environment protection
EnviroSafe technology protects data from exposure to UV, blowing sand, blowing dust, rain, salt fog, icing or freezing rain for up to 24 hours per MIL-STD-810G 505.4, 506.4, 509.4 and 510. -
Chemical protection
ChemSafe technology protects data during periods of immersion in diesel fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids and aircraft fuels to a 12' depth for 1 hour per MIL-STD-810G 504. -
Altitude protection
AltiSafe technology enables operation at altitudes up to 30,000 feet per MIL-STD-810G 500.4. -
SuperSpeed USB
USB 3.0 connectivity delivers blazingly fast transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s and backwards compatibility with USB 2.0.
