Description

The D-Link® 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub (DUB-H4) provides four additional USB 2.0 ports to your PC or Mac, allowing you to connect USB devices such as digital cameras, external hard drives, flash drives, and printers. Providing data rates of up to 480Mbps*, this 4-port hub is the ideal solution for transferring data between your computer and external USB storage devices.

Simple plug-and-play
Designed to provide quick and easy access, the DUB-H4 is equipped with four type "A" downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals or other USB hubs. The DUB-H4 does not require any software or complicated installation process. It is a Plug-and-Play device that provides seamless connectivity to both PCs and Macs.

You can simply connect the DUB-H4 to your computer and start connecting your USB devices.

Backward compatible with USB 1.1

The DUB-H4 is backward compatible with USB 1.1** devices, ensuring connectivity between your computer and legacy USB devices. Diagnostic LEDs located on the front of the device provide power state and port status.

The D-Link 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub (DUB-H4) is an excellent choice for adding more USB ports to your computer for connecting your existing peripherals as well as adding the latest USB cameras and external storage devices.

For comparison purposes only. Maximum transfer rate based on USB 2.0 specifications. Actual data throughput will vary.
Using a USB 1.1 port will affect device performance.

  • Seamless connections

The DUB-H4 is designed to provide quick and easy access to the 4 type A downstream ports to connect to peripherals with USB 2.0 support, other USB hubs and devices. A single type B upstream port is provided to connect to the host computer, or another USB hub.
  • Low, full and high speeds supported with data buffering

As a standard USB hub, it buffers USB data from any attached peripherals or devices in compliance with USB specification versions 1.1 and 2.0 to provide an invisible extension of the USB bus. Supporting both low-speed 1.5Mbps devices, full-speed 12Mbps devices and high speed 480Mbps, each port creates a bridge between the peripheral and host computer.
  • Feature-rich and easy to use

Diagnostic LED's are mounted on the device to provide the user with power state and port status. The DUB-H4 is packaged with a 6-feet USB 2.0 A-to-B cable, and a DC 5V/2.5A external AC power supply.

Excellent! 2 minutes to plug it in and it works! What more can I say - it does what it says on the box. I'm using it with a Dabs Value 4 port PCI USB card, did one reboot & all plugins work fine at full speed. This PC lark is getting too simple!

USB Power

The hub needs power , as many USB devices draw 5V DC , if you plug four of these into a hub with no power problems occur as the one USB port cant power all four devices, hence the need for a separate power supply,
