D-Link's Megapixel Day & Night WDR Network Camera is an IP camera equipped with a 1/3" Megapixel WDR Progressive Scan CMOS and a 2.8~12mm DC auto iris lens. The DCS-3710 captures video in both dark and light environments, or even subjects shot against a backlight by neutralising and generating a realistic image.
The camera is ideal for 24-hour surveillance, with its Infrared-Cut Removable (ICR) filter for night vision. 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) makes for easy installation by providing both data and power connection through a single cable. The cameras provide DI/DO interfaces for connection to external devices such as IR sensors, switches, and alarm relays for effective surveillance. It also includes a RS-485 interface, providing connectivity to an optional pan/tilt enclosure, and microphone and speaker ports for 2-way communication. Additionally, a 12V interface provides power for an optional LED illuminator.
The DCS-3710 provides high quality real-time videos in MPEG-4 or MJPEG compression. Up to three different profiles may be configured to operate simultaneously. Footage can be stored on an SD card in the camera itself or on a NAS device or Network Video Recorder (NVR). D-Link's D-ViewCam software is included to manage up to 32 cameras in real time, send automated e-mail alerts, and record video to your hard drive when motion is detected or according to a set schedule.

Multiple VIDEO streams
The DCS-3710 supports simultaneous streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG video to provide both high-quality, and bandwidth-efficient compression formats. MJPEG delivers excellent file integrity, ideal for situations which required high image detail. MPEG-4 produces a small file size, making it more useful for extended recording or for use in low bandwidth networks. Additionally, the DCS-3710 supports multicast MPEG-4 streaming allowing users to view contact by subscribing to a multicast IP address on the network. -
Flexible connectivity
The DCS-3710 includes input and output ports allowing connectivity to external devices such as IR sensors, switches, and alarm relays. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) applications
