This TruLink HDMI to VGA Adapter Converter provides a reliable connection between a more modern laptop, chromebook, computer or other HDMI-enabled source device and older displays such as monitors or projects that accept an analogue VGA input. Unlike other products which claim this capability, particularly cables, the TruLink HDMI to VGA Converter is an active device which converts a digital HDMI signal to an analogue VGA signal, which eliminates the need to invest in new HDMI-compatible displays to accommodate newer source devices. This Converter offers straightforward plug and play installation meaning you can simply connect the unit to both the source device and the display to enjoy high definition content. This device is bus powered from the HDMI port for added convenience and does not require an additional power source. A 3.5mm stereo audio output is also included so that audio can be enjoyed through the display.
