The BUFFALO TeraStation 3200 is a dual bay, RAID-enabled NAS device designed for SOHO users demanding higher performance and data redundancy. Sporting the Marvell ARMADA XP dual-core processor, the TeraStation 3200 provides exceptional performance during data backup, file sharing and other everyday NAS demands. The TeraStation 3200 runs many services simultaneously and the dual-core processor enables the ability to focus on concurrent tasks with minimal performance degradation.

Extremely reliable hardware
The design of the unit and ventilation fan helps ensure air flow, which is critical in holding down temperatures inside the case. The fan used id very quiet. It also monitors temperatures within the case and automatically regulates the fan speed for quiet yet effective cooling. -
Utilizes specially designed, highly reliable power supply unit

Front panel dust filter
The filter prevents dust from getting inside the unit, which reduces the load on the fan and contributes to more stable operation. -
Hot-swappable hard drive
The internal drives are hot-swappable, so they can be replaced in the event of a hard drive failure, with no need to switch off the power. It is designed to minimize effects on the system when disks are replaced. The RAID array absent the failed hard drive allows the system to be used as usual, even while the drive is being replaced, so there is no extra obstacle to normal business operations. -
Quota function sets capacity available to users and groups
Setting the appropriate amount of hard disk space available for each user and group prevents any one user or group from making excessive use of the hard drive. -
Hidden share folder function is perfect for storing administrator files
You can make settings for the "hidden share folders", which are not displayed in the list of folders. These folders can be used as destinations for PC server backups and for saving system administrators' management data while the existence of the folders themselves is hidden from general users.
