If you want a quieter pc then look elseware.. This cooler is not quiet at all, certainly not the stated 26db.. I gave it a try because it had an 80mm fan which meant that it probably would be quiet but the fan spins at 3300rpm so its actually quite loud.. I amd going to try an alternate fan because the heatsink itself looks quite good and its holding my CPU at about 39deg.. Of course the quieter fan may not provide enough airflow to ceep the cpu cool.. If you want a cheap cooler this one is for you, if you want a quiet one keep looking..
