A Kensington lock slot enables the notebook to be secured to the desk, while TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 1.2 hardware security assures the integrity of the platform, disk encryption and password protection.

Built for Education

Designed to fit into any classroom environment, the TravelMate B117 features a ruggedized frame with a rubber strip that encloses the chassis to protect the device from unexpected bumps and drops. The keyboard is spill-resistant with a water drainage design that protects against accidental spills.

Weighing only 1.35 kg and measuring 22.3 mm thin it can be put into any backpack.

Spilling liquid on a notebook is quite a common accident, especially with kids who might be less careful with their devices.
