Samsung Celebrates 20 Years of Printing
Producing many of the world’s fastest and smallest printers, Samsung is celebrating its 20 years in the laser printing industry.
Over the past two decades Samsung has seen a considerable change in printers from original inkjet & laser printers, MFPs and untidy cables to laser printing and WiFi connectivity, enabling printers to talk intuitively to other office devices.
Recently the Samsung CLX-6250FX and Samsung SCX-5737FW printers have both won BLI Awards for ‘Outstanding A4 Colour MFP’s for Small Work groups’. As interest turns to new innovations such as 3D and cloud printing, print companies need to up their game if they wish to keep up with the likes of Samsung. This year alone, the company has picked up 9 awards for its printers at the BLI awards.
Back in February, Samsung posted a video on YouTube showcasing their upcoming 3D printing technology. See if you can guess which objects are printed images and which are real.
Do you think 3D printing will take off?
