It delivers an average of over 216 MB/sec reading speed, and over 121 MB/sec writing under RAID 5 configuration in a Windows environment.

  When the storage capacity of RS815 is nearing its limit, additional storage can be easily added with Synology RX4152 expansion unit which provides room for an additional 32TB volume, allowing for a total raw capacity of 64TB3. Equipped with specially-designed locking connectors, Synology RX415 can be securely connected to RS815 via an eSATA cable.
