Brother has been voted the best printer vendor at The PC Pro Excellence Awards.

The PC Pro Excellence Awards, which survey over 11,000 people, are considered amongst the most prestigious in the IT industry as they are awarded on the feedback of PC Pro readers based upon the quality of service and products they have experienced.

Value for money is where Brother surged ahead of its competitors, with an overall value score of 88%. Only Kodak (85%) came close to matching that, but it couldn't match Brother in terms of print quality or the speed of its printers, according to our survey".

Other criteria for the award included reliability, customer support, general satisfaction and whether they would purchase from that company again.

The site quotes one reader who described their Brother printer as "incredible" value for money.
